how-to: resident experts?

Right now I am looking for anyone with a technique they've mastered that not everyone knows how to do, to help me get the "techniques" section on the blog started! I'm hoping for either step-by-step picture instructions or a little video or something. If anyone is interested in this, please comment or email me.

Hints: image/letter transfers; decollage; digital; cutouts; inks/spills; sewing/fabric; hand-lettering?

ethelind:

I find a lot of inspiration on youtube (search "image transfer techniques") and the scrapbook-community
they have a bunch of links and tutorials about creating background techniques with household items and altering journal pages
a good source are children crafts book
claudine hellmuth has creative background techniques in her books (collageartist.com)
maybe this helps for the beginning

happy clicking!

Thanks!
I've been on YouTube a lot and some other sites, but I find a lot of the material is really dated, and not everyone would find it useful. That's why I wanted to create new tutorials, for new and advanced artists. I know some people don't want to give up their secrets, either...
