nicolas di filippo


This artist's work has that dirty grunge look that has obvious characteristics of much of the collage work from Argentina, a style that I can't help but love. However, his new works have a different kind of graphic black and white machine style.

Q: Describe your work in 10 words or less.
A: Simple, just being free to do what I want.

Q: What do you like to work with (magazines, photographs, vintage)? Be specific!
A: As a graphic designer, every corner of graphics.

Q: How long have you been creating collages and what made you start?
A: 5 years approximately; my studies.


Q: Are you solely an artist, or do you work in another profession?
A: Both, I work as a graphic designer.

Q: Do you have any formal art training?
A: Graphic Design career.

Q: Explain your favourite techniques.
A: Collage. Mixed media. Every technique is valid.


Q: Describe your favourite piece ever created.
A: I don't have one. I never finish them. I just drop them out.

Q: What other artists do you admire?
A: David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Monet, Toulouse Lautrec and much more.
