anacrônico


There is something to be said for having a distinct style, and Anacrônico has it down! His work is stunning, I love the boldness of colour against the "whitish" background. I love that he uses the same techniques, such as covered faces with letters or white space. This is what makes his style: his style.

Q: Describe your work in 10 words or less.
A: Works with what is common and unfashion[able].

Q: What do you like to work with (magazines, photographs, vintage)? Be specific!
A: Magazines and vintage porn.

Q: How long have you been creating collages and what made you start?
A: A few years ago since I started the study graphic design.

Q: Are you solely an artist, or do you work in another profession?
A: I'm a graphic designer too.




Q: Do you have any formal art training?
A: No, but I did some courses focused on fine arts and I'm training in graphic design.

Q: Explain your favourite techniques.
A: I like exaggeration so I try to use this principle to give way to my work. Generally
I use ink, paints, xerox, etc.. In a way I like mixing different techniques.

Q: Describe your favourite piece ever created.
A: It's difficult to choose but I love Lascívia or Lust. It is a recent study in which I explore the ways female nudity and trying to create a line between lust and sweetness.




Q: What other artists do you admire?
A: Dan Eldon and Eduardo Recife.
