This was supposed to be a drawing with an interesting perspective, but I seriously just don't have it in me anymore. I don't like drawing like I used to. I can draw reasonably well if I want to, but all the work I have done lately looks like it has been spewed out by an earlier version of myself. I don't like to draw, I have decided. The point of this class is learning how to draw things accurately with speed. Luckily, I am not a perfectionist and I have the speed part down.

This interesting thing about this drawing (which I did enjoy doing, even though it is not a perspective drawing really) is that there was much debate apparently regarding the mark I should get. He gave me a detailed explanation surrounding the 85 I didn't get, but I completely understand the 80 I did get and I think it was a good decision. Anyway... anyway.

I am excited to say that it is a two year anniversary! We are going to an antique show (there's love right there).

My mom and nana came to visit me yesterday, and I basically just took them around doing errands I was going to do anyway, haha. Then we shopped a small bit, got take out, and watched Frida.

This month has been insanely busy, so far. I am dreading Christmas, I haven't done any shopping and if I wait too long I won't even be able to go NEAR the Eaton Centre. I will update pretty soon, with all of the work that I have been doing. I have a lot of final projects that I am due to begin work on, that you will see soon!

I have scanned some images today for my Typography I final project. I am very excited about this one, I love making books. It is the 6 Typeface Categories project, where I have 6 categories of type with samples of typefaces from magazines or newspapers. The result is a collage book, which I am going to do digitally. I am thinking of doing a diecut on the front cover of the number 6. Yay!

I made cards yesterday on a letterpress for Christmas, I will have some pictures later. Where do I find myself a letterpress!? I want one.

Also, I got a neat magazine called surface, it's not new but it's new to me. There is some amazing photography inside, like the following:

It's instant inspiration, I need to become a better photographer. I have never been very good with cameras.

I just realized that I should probably put a limit on my tag cloud. It's getting pretty lengthy.
