I got so lucky that I didn’t have to work this time around and would get to go to the clothing show! Last time was great, and though I only bought some vintage brown pearls and a summer dress, I spent hours and hours in heaven. I almost like it more than I like the Interior Design Show, I just wish there was an Interior Design show that would showcase things I could actually afford to purchase. I invited Dina, one of my best friends, to come with me (no boyfriends allowed).
We spent a few hours there, and it was enjoyable. It was not as good as the first time I went, but it was worth my ten-dollar entrance fee. Everything was in the same place as always, it felt like there were no new vendors and I had seen everything before. I came home with: a beige pencil skirt with an “etched” flower pattern in black ($6), a screen-printed, striped t-shirt ($25), and a black and white floral printed case ($10). There were good deals and bad deals, but I am pretty happy with what I came home with.
